At Wonder Kids Kāpiti we value whānaungatanga, ako and tuakana-teina.
Our tamariki learn with and alongside others. Through these interactions tamariki come to learn that they are members of a wider group of people. Our kindy is open plan, and the learning that takes place is inclusive and not specific to any age group.
Our indoor learning spaces are equipped with resources that capture the imagination
We have pretend play scenarios and dressups, puzzles and games; blocks and duplo; musical instruments as well as music for tamariki to move and dance to. Our deck allows for art and craft activities where tamariki learn through experimenting and exploring different mediums. The deck leads out to our playground area which is spacious. There is a big sandpit, and plenty of room for biking and running. We have a natural play space with fruit trees, and a garden bed that has been established with bee-friendly plants.
