Kia Ora,
I am Rose, one of the Kaiako here at Wonder Kids. I am currently in my third and final year of studying the Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. I finished Wairarapa College in 2021 and went on to study through Open Polytech the year after. I have been working in early childhood for almost 2 years now and was previously at a centre in Carterton doing relieving. I have had lots of experience in different centres whilst on placement for my course. I am very excited and grateful for this to be my first permanent position as a Kaiako.

I love working with children because it is so rewarding to see them grow and accomplish throughout their time learning. Part of my teaching philosophy is nurturing each child so they can reach their highest potential.

I grew up in Masterton but currently I’m living in Carterton with my partner. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym for my physical and mental wellbeing. One of my favourite things to do in the summer is to go camping at Morrisons bush with my family.
