Kia Ora Whānau

My name is Julia, I am the mother of three girls and nana to four beautiful grandchildren.

I have a Bachelor of Teaching and I am a fully registered teacher. I have been involved in the teaching and development of young children for the past 27 years. My career in teaching started in 1996 when I became a Banardo's in-home caregiver. Following on from this I completed my Diploma of teaching in 2006 then upgraded to complete my Bachelor of teaching in 2013.

I value the importance of forming trusting, respectful relationships with both children and families at the centre and providing an environment where children and families feel a sense of belonging. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, reading, going to concerts and travelling.
