Kia ora,
My name is Devis Manito Cabasan, and I am one of the Kaiako here at Wonder Kids Masterton. My family and I come from the Philippines, often referred to as the Pearl of the Orient, a country celebrated for its tropical climate, stunning beaches, and the warm hospitality of its people.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am currently working towards full registration in my teaching career here in New Zealand.
I bring with me several years of teaching experience from the Philippines, where I had the privilege of guiding and nurturing young minds as they grew into responsible citizens.

Additionally, I had the exciting opportunity to teach in Thailand, the Land of Smiles, where I worked as an English Foreign Teacher. That year was filled with fun and rewarding experiences teaching Thai children the English language while immersing myself in a new culture.

I am passionate about working with children, engaging with them through play-based learning that allows them to have fun while developing essential skills. As a father of two, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment for children to grow, as I firmly
believe that the future of any nation lies in the hands of its youth. I'm incredibly excited to be part of the Wonder Kids Masterton team and look forward to contributing to this wonderful community!
